Lab Overview

SMOOTH Lab, affiliated with Southern Medical University, brings together interdisciplinary researchers from dermatology, microbiology, immunology, and translational medicine. Our team is dedicated to exploring the complex interactions between the skin and mucosal microbiome and human health, with a focus on translating scientific discoveries into clinical applications.

Led by senior researchers and supported by young scholars and graduate students, we foster a collaborative and innovative research environment, committed to solving key scientific problems in skin health and improving patient outcomes.
